1 Had to have towing pkg.

2. Never had a moon roof before. I really like it. Lights up the interior nicely and there are many days in the summer that are just perfect to drive around with it open.

3. 5.4L It's a love/hate relation ship. I love it when pulling the trailer, then when I look at the gas hand I start to hate it

4. Power Pedals. I don't even know if they still move. Cassette Player, Although I find it usefull to hold Parking lot time tickets.

1. Towing Package, 5.4L
2. Fog Lamps
3. Bed Extender
4. Not really an option, but the space under my cup holders. You can't store anything in there.

What is the best/most useful option that you had to have?
I-FEW System. (Impending Fart Early Warning System) Don't really care for the probe and wish there was
a volume control on the "Roll The Windows Down! Roll The Windows Down!" speaker messsage.

What is the best/most useful option that just came on your truck (but that you otherwise wouldn't have ordered)?
BUI-FEW System (Back-Up Impending Fart Early Warning System) In case of an I-FEW failure the BUI-FEW displays a
flashing console message "Abandon Vehicle Immediately", saved me more than once.

What is the worst/most useless option that you had to have?
OSER System (Outside Sensor Evaluation Reassurance System)Takes readings from outside vehicle. When passing
Land-fills or fish processing plants console and speaker proclaim "It Ain't You" message repeatedly until you believe it.

What is the worst/most useless option that just came on your truck (but that you otherwise wouldn't have ordered)?
HCTNP System (Hourly Countdown Till Next Payment System) I know they want their money but, I consider that little
Bill Ford Jr popping out of the dash like a cuckoo clock bird, an invasion of my privacy.

1) 5.4L 3v Engine... Had to drive an hour and 1/2 away to find it in the truck I wanted
2) 6 dish in-dash CD changer... Didn't want it but I got it and now I like it.
3) None... Only option I had to have was the 5.4l Engine...
4) The self-dimming rear view mirrors... It gets annoying because it turns green and I can't tell how far back the vehicle is behind me and I can't turn it off in my truck! I can turn it off in the Highlander but not my truck.

Well can't touch Raoul...sooo...

1. Rear sensor...with a truck in the suburbs it is a huge help
2. That is tough...I wanted all the options so I guess the overhead bins. I use them a good bit but probably wouldn't have ordered them if they were an option.
3. I guess the pedals. The wife uses them but I'm saving the real useless one for $4.
4. Homelink...hands down...I've looked for options and haven't found one. I don't have a garage...

1. Moon Roof - can't own a personal vehicle without it. I never liked them until I got one in my old '03 Sequoia - it was amazing how open it made everything feel.

2. Power sliding rear - It works great when used with the moon roof in "venting" the cab. With the top and back open, you get a breeze, but not a beating.

3. Nerf bars - I didn't necessarily WANT them, but they were already on the truck and they looked good. I've realized that all they do is smudge crap on the back of my pants, but only when I'm on the way to a big meeting and have to look my best. I'm gonna take them off if I ever get some spare time.

4. Heated mirrors - I live in the southern part of central Texas. Enough said.

The option on my truck I cant live without is all of them. I drove an XL with crank windows and manual door locks for 8 years before this truck. Im in heaven with just "the basics"

Most useful option: The coin holder in the dash, can't live without that little gem!

My answers:

1) Tie between auto temp and Lariat interior
2) Audiophile sound system
3) None
4) Keyless entry button pad on driver's door handle

To add a catagory: "What are options that are not available on your truck that you'd like to have?".....

1) Global up/down window function to air out my black SCREW on hot days
2) Express up/down window switches - like my '05 Mustang GT has.
3) Inner bedwall storage bins - lots of space between the outer & inner bed walls where a lockable bin could be mounted - flush with the inner bed wall.
4) Factory flush mounted solar panels - to run a fan to vent the cab on hot days and trickle charge the battery between uses.
5) Underhood or under bed jack storage - to free up space under the rear seat.

That's a really cool idea.

Are there any aftermarket fans like this? I park my truck in full sun a LOT and it's like an Oven in there...
