A guy on here that was putting on the SCrew take off leather seat covers on his SCab said the rear seat was different by about an inch side to side.

Could someone please measure the length of the bottom of the back seat in their Screw. And the distance from the back of the rear seat to the back of the front seat. Have the front seat moved all the way back and it in the first positon back, the seat should be almost vertical.

My Scab is:

Bottom of rear seat-16 3/4"
Rear seat to back of front seat-23 1/4"
Leg room-6 1/2"

I have sat in a Screw, Scab, my dad's quad cab Dodge and my friends GMC extended cab, the back seat in the GM is the most comfortable in my eyes but the leg room is kinda shabby, the Dodge lots of leg room but the seat seams to be at less that a 90 degree angle which is uncomfortable, and the Scab and Screw I didn't find much of a difference, they just seem so straight and not high enough off of the floor.

Once again only my perspective, and I will avoid sitting back there ( laying is fine!!) but when people complain about it being uncomfortable I can't tell them to suck it up any more I have to agree with them.

Also is there any way the seat can be lifted without comprimising saftey or functionality, my dad did this in his 82 Ford Scab and it was like night and day.

I apy the payments so I don't ride in the back very often, but when I have its not bad at all. I think the extra leg room in the screw makes a HUGE difference though.

One more though while we are comparing the two, the supercab has more room upfront(hip), and i think you can get the best of both worlds on th 06 because i heard you can get a larger bed on the supercrew, although in my opinion it would look big.

thats why i bought a supercrew... I knew from time to time I would have my parents, in-laws, or friends riding with me so why not. Everyone that rides back there always comments on how much room there is and how comfortable it is.

I recently drove 1600 miles, and half of that was with a trailer and parents in tow. My folks kept fighting over the back seat! My step father wouldn't give up the back seat, going on and on about how comfortable it was... My mother preferred the front seat but she just had to try it since he was raving about it so much.

I personally have sat back there, I don't mind it. I love the drivers seat (a perfect fit for me) - I have sat in much worse and think that if I wanted the luxury of a Mercedes - I would have bought one - I think my truck is Just Fine IMHO
Same here. I have a Lariat S/cab but should be the same seats. I've had people on long and short trips tell me the seats were comfortable. But in any case I'm still going to get the seat lift kit and find a way to lift the backs and lean them back an inch or two to improve the comfort.

I road in the back of my 00' SCAB and the only way it was comfortable for me was to sit sideways and stretch out over the seat... If I wanted to sit up, then the passenger had to move his seat all the way up.

Not sure how much room the new ones give but the old ones definately didn't have enough room for an adult.
