Fire Extinguisher Location

I just purchased the Kidde Auto fire-extinguisher for my f150. I bought this because it fits in the door pocket of the suicide door in my reg cab. It fits well but I'm mildly concerned about it getting tossed around when I open and shut the door.

Where do you have your fire-extinguisher mounted?

I have mine under the center of the rear seat, I can reach it pretty easy if I had to.

The faceplate comes off really easy, Slide out you drink holder, then just grab the lower part of the faceplate and work it out, It is held in place with clips, Really easy to get out and replace, The are 4 plug in connector that you have to un plug, to remove it completly.
If you have anymore questions just e mail me and I will help all I can, it is a pretty easy thing to do though.

Talking

I have my extinguisher in my Kobalt truck box, along with my boots, helmet and turnout gear. My other truck, a KME Custom Rescue Pumper has too many to mention.

I have a mine sitting in a towel along with a flashlight in my driver side rear door pocket. They don’t jump around at all when I open and close the door

I'm no expert, but the guy that sold me my 5lb Amerex said to store it in an upright position. That pretty much means drilling some holes somewhere inside my SC for the bracket, but I hate to do that. Inside the box makes a good place, but it would probably get stolen. Hmmm... I'm still thinking.

You don’t have to store them in an upright position, that’s bull. What about jet skis? They are stored horizontally and they’re Coast Guard regulated
