ok guys, i think im going to pull the trigger and get some new wheels for my truck, i have an 05 f150 supercrew KR 4x4, it also has a 2.5 autospring installed. im thinking about getting some 20 inch helo max 6 wheels, and getting the company to paint them to match my truck. i have a darkstone with arizona beige bottom, ie.. the wheels would be darkstone with a chrome lip. what do you guys think about those wrapped in some nitto terragraplers?
fire away guys, i wont be offended if you think its a bad idea, i just think it would look absolutely sick, it would deff stand out in the daylight and at night. but thats me, what do you guys think

I personally don't think it would look good. I am more of a chrome guy or stock looking wheels. I think having them the same color will just not look right.

But, guess what its not my rig, I may be totally off base and it may be the best thing since sliced bread.

 

Like Thrill, i too am a "stock rim" guy, the KR rims are nice, don't thnk i would change them out for anything aftermarket.

My vote is no on the painted rims. I just can't imagine that looking good. Would hate to see you spend all that money on something that you will end up not happy with.

 

There is an expy around me with the same rims painted, not a fan of it.

 

i dont think colored rims look good. black rims are alrite if ona certain truck. i would go with chrome. i thought of going with black rims with a chrome ring but after ahile i was convinced it would not look good or at least chrome ones would look better. its up to you.
