Do You Have Insulation Under Your Hood?

I HAVE AN 04 STX, AND NO INSULATION UNDER THE HOOD! ACTUALLY JUST REALIZED THIS, WHAT MODELS HAVE IT AND WHAT MODELS DONT? I'M A GONNA HAVE TO GETS ME ONE!!

All 2004 Job#1 trucks have the insulation, 2004 Job#2 and after only have it on the Lariat and FX4.

Looks like another cost savings matter. Just like how they removed the HomeLink as standard on the Lariat for 2005. It was standard on my 2004 Lariat.

Yea, I have on my 04 FX4...it must be the 05 thang. Did you know that Ford removed "quite steel" from all models except FX4 and Lariat starting in 05; cost savings....another smart a$$ savings by Ford. I thought vehicles supposed to get better with newer years, but Ford is moving backwards with quality. In fact, one other notice is the center pillard area, my 04 has shiny reflective plastic while 05 has non-reflective cheap looking plastic. What a dissapointment....
