2WD Lift questions

I have a 4.6L 4x2 with 3.55 gears. I would like to put some 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers on with some 18" Helo Maxx 6 wheels. I would like to have the look of a nice leveled 4x4 but a liitle higher in the back since I often tow my 19' boat. My current plans are to put the 2" 4x4 block in the back and put a 2.5 inch leveling kit (Daystar of Autospring) in the front. My questions are:

1. Should I just get the blocks or would an add-a-leaf be a better idea?

2. Once I put the tires and wheels on, should I immediately regear to 4.11's?

3. What would these changes do to my warranty, esp. the gear change? Is there any way to get 4.11's without voiding the warranty?

1. Depends on what you're doing, if you're towing quite a bit, I'd recommend the add-a-leaf. When I had my Autospring, I ran both blocks and add-a-leaf, and the rear end would squat a little bit when I had my dirt bikes in the bed.

2. If you want to, sure. I have 3.55's and still pull my 285's.

3. Couldn't tell ya, depends on the dealer.

How many aggies does it take to lift a 2wd? (o.k. im an aggie too). Anyways, the i bought an 05 screw 2wd yesterday, and got my dealer to install a leveling kit. They have some deal where they work with an aftermarket truck shop and have them install it for the dealership and the dealership honors the warranty. I think they even cover all types of suspension lifts as well, ( they showed me some pics of 6 and 8 inch kits). I had them install a donahoe racing 2.5 leveling kit and it looks pretty sweet imo. I'm not sure what you tires you can stick under there, but since the front is going to be at 4x4 height w/ level and the 4x4's use 32's i think 33's might fit under there. I have no idea if i should regear or not if i use 33's tho...

You don't need to regear. Im not even going to re-gear with 35s right away. I didn't nose ANY power loss with my 33s and these things are WIDE.

I'm planning to have a 4" BDS suspension lift installed next month and will be going from 235's to 33x10.5's. The place I'm plan to use says I'll be fine with the 3.73's I already have. Granted, when I regeared I should have gone with the 4.10's just because, but live and learn...
