9005 Silverstars...price and where you buy for your 04/05 Fogs

So I'm giving in and doing the 9005 silverstars in the fog lights.

Went to Walmart, as somone referenced it in an earlier thread and saw there price....$40 for a set of 9005 silverstars!

There has to be a cheaper place somewhere. If thats the price, you can forget that mod...definitely not worth it.

Hints on where and how much?

Paid 39.95 for mine at Pep Boys. I am very pleased though...made a HUGE difference in the fog light output. Problem is, now the headlights look dim by comparision!

That is where my HID retro will come into play.

The silverstars don't shine any farther down the road do they, then the stock bulbs?

Don't want to start a frenzy. They are technically high beam bulbs. I'm only doing it because RP is doing it!!1 So if it's bad that I'm doing it....just blame him. Just kidding.

Thats why I did it too...that and he said my foglights would stay cleaner! Seriously though, they are much brighter and light up around the front of truck much better.

Bought mine at Pep Boys. Bought 1 at a time @ 16.99 each.

Its worth it. Go ahead, pull the trigger.
