Headlight bulbs

Stopped by an auto shop yesterday and asked for some aftermarket bulbs for my '04. Guy said he thought he could get them, called, and was told they are on backorder. That doesn't surprise me, but what does surprise me is that there is finally a 9008 bulb offered? Not sure what brand, I think they were APC. Not sure how much they cost either. He called them an 'import' bulb, whatever you can take that to mean. Does anyone else know anything about this or where I can get some soon? I know everyone wants some so there is going to be a backorder for sure most anywhere.

Check e-Bay. There's always listings for them.

Okay, I'll check ebay, but I've never seen anything like a 9008 bulb yet, or never heard anyone on here talking about replacement 9008 bulbs. Everyone just talks about coming up w/ a different way to get whiter lights.

Look for H13, not 9008. That's the way Sylvania lists them. I am beginning to think they changed their mind on what they were going to call them. There was a 9008 previously that fit Saturn cars. I think they may have renamed to not cause any confusion, and caused confusion.

Cool, what color would you say they are? Just true white or do they have the expensive luxury car HID look to them, maybe w/ a slight blue tint? Can you tell me which ebay seller you got them from and how much they cost? Thanks man!
