I find that the arm rest height is just perfect . Plus is offers tons of storage space, something that many people say is missing from the new F150.

To each their own.

These covers are the real deal.. They have factory tags on the inside of all the covers.. The above pics are my truck and there are other pics of the leather in my gallery.. As for the console- - I have a flow thru comming with the black vinyl/leather armrest... A guy I work with has also bought a set from this guy. This is really a great deal for anyone wanting black leather..

Did you have to take off your factory cloth covers to get these on or where you able to pull these over that?

The old covers have to come off. I did the drivers seat and then took them to a local shop to have them complete it.. It was a pain since I had never done it before. Hog rings are used to install the covers and I didn't have the tool, I have been told that you can get them at a farm supply store...

how much did they charge you? Do you have the rear seat armrest? If not did the shop fix that for you?

The good thing about the 40, 20, 40 is that you can have your girl slide up right next to you.

I got the good O' boy price of $75, I've done alot of business with them.. They charged my buddy from work $150 and that included stitching in a flat piece where the rear armrest is..

I bought a set and its true they are factory takeoffs from 04/05 SCrew of course the only thing that real leather are the 2 front seating backs and bottoms, everything else in Vinyl, I live in a smaller town and the only place i have checked with wanted $400 for the install and the sewing of back seat panel, considerably higher than i would have thought...between the install and seats i could have got Wet Okoles... Anyway i have a couple more shops to visit to get a quote. The company that's selling them on Ebay is doing KatSkins conversions and is just pulling these off of brand new trucks.
$75 or $150 is a killer deal, try to get those headrest covers off what a PITA

TXF150, are those gray or black seats in a tan interior truck? I have a tan interior which is way too light for kids, lake, camping etc., and I thought of putting these on and changing the carpet to black but worried how they would look. What do you think of the colors matching/contrasting with the dash, kick panels etc? These are for a 2004-05 SuperCrew, right?

I also noticed that since I have a bench seat in front I will have to get that covered too. Any ideas there?

All - Should I just go with Wet Okole or the Coverking custom neoprene covers that Costco sells? http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...th=3960*21358*

Does neoprene bleed onto the leather underneath? I have tan and it is light!

Thanks.

I bought the set about a month ago from that seller. Worked great in my supercrew. You can search for other threads about others that have installed them. It's not too hard to do it yourself.

Goslow, did they send the center console/armrest cover or did you have that made by an upholsterer? If so, how much was it?

If I were to do that mod on one of my wife's quilts, let's just say it wouldn't be pretty! (Me, begging for mercy!)

Thanks.

Again, my reupholstry background is coming into play... Anyhow, as far as the head rests are concerned, when you open up the bottom, you will notice that the head rest is wrapped in a very thin plastic. That plastic is to help facilitate installation. Get out your vacuum and find a nice little hole in the plastic (get the head of the vacuum under tha plastic if you can). When you turn the vacuum on, the air inside the plastic will be suck out and the foam will begin to shrink. Take off the cover while the vacuum is still on, and put the new cover on. Much easier, eh?

The center stuff came with my set (I paid $95 for the covers) (in the new ads they state that the center console doesn't come with those sets). I'm not sure exactly how I managed to end up with it being there, must have been an oddly configured lariat they had.

If you search this site for "leather ebay" you can probably find the guy that put on some light gray leather and mentioned his upholsterer got the covers for that center seat someplace.

Gobra gave me the trade secrets to putting the other seat covers on it's not that hard to do. Though your hands will feel very used by the end (It took me about 2.5 hours to do the front passenger seat, the drivers seat was much much faster after doing the first one).
