AC (problem)?
#31
My first thoughts on the 2005 was that the AC was no where near as good as I had experienced on earlier F-150's, nor equal to my current other Fords. After comparing the vent temperatures between the current vehicles they were all within a couple of degrees of 40F, so why did the F-150 "feel" so much warmer? I can only see two possibilities - the current F-150's have a much larger window area so direct heat is an issue, or the difference in the vents themselves causes poor distribution. The multi-vane vents seem to have a more directional stream of air, while the newer eye-ball style are a real PITA to get adjusted.
