back seat question

back seat question

ok, i have owned my f1 fity for about 3 months now, i love it, but my question is, do the back seats fold down. i know the but part of the seat folds up, but does the back rest fold down or something? how do i get back there? there is a little black rope in the center of the back rest that i tried pullin on, but nothing happens, wont even budge, maybe just pull harder? help please

The back seat does not fold down...the rope your pulling on is for a childs car seat to be attached to.

Yeah, use needle-nose pliers to pull out the staple, take off the rubber sleeving as necessary, and push them down behind the seat. YOU may not need those for the kiddies, but the next guy/gal who owns your truck might! It doesn't hurt to leave them there ... just hidden away. Plus, leaving them in place looks odd and the rubberband will melt in time and 'gunk' up your truck. Your manual will give you info on how to use the kiddie straps, etc.
