How to hardwire a radar detector?

V-1 Detector upgraded and installed..
I went to V-1 to get the conceal display and found out i needed to upgrade my unite. Sent it in and for $75 they upgraded it for POP.
I have mine mounted with velcro under the rearview mirror works great and hard to see it.
remote display is on the sterring column
