Need Help
Just got done trying to install my Bilsteins front shocks and ran into a problem. for some reason I can not get the spring compressed enough to get the shock in, and on top of that had a heck of a time putting the old one back on. about and 1 and half and 4 beers later got the old one in and now the upper control arm is rubbing against the spring. does anyone have any idea what I did wrong. It looks like I am making a trip to the dealer to have it fixed and the shock installed. unless I can find a cure.
Any help would be great

Sounds like your doing something wrong while compressing the spring, what kind of compressor device are you using ? Also drinking and auto repairing is
a pretty unwise mix, next you'll be driving it drunk too, in which case you won't need the new shocks after you wrap it around a tree. The way the old one comes out is the way the new one goes in,that's how I do it....
sort of like what goes up must come down .......... (but without the beer)
