The way I understand it, Rhinoliners are sprayed on low pressure/low temperature, and when they cure (approx 24 hours later) they take on a rubberized texture. That's what my Permatech feels like. Line-X, on the other hand, is applied high temperature/high pressure and cures in a few minutes. It has a sandpaper-like texture to it and it hard when it dries.

Had my Line X for about 8 or 9 months now and couldn't be happier. And I only paid $300 with a military discount, best $300 I've spent on the truck yet. I hauled literally thousands of pounds of rock during my landscaping project, everything from 3/4 gravel, to 3 inch river rock, to boulders. All (except the boulders) shoveld in and shoveled out. Still looks brand new.

Drop in bed liners don't prevent damage from tossed in bricks, cinder blocks, pipes, etc... Just look at my brother-in-laws Dodge. Now he has no other choice but to go with another drop in. He bought the liner and had it installed the day that he bought his Ram new in 2001 and now it is showing signs of rust especially around the bed bolts and the front corners near the cab.
I was able to get my Line-x done for $378.88 out the door (mulit-vehicle discount). Plus a lifetime warranty that is honored by all Line-x dealers nationwide.
And contrary to popular belief, they don't have to remove all the paint down to the bare metal. They simply scuff the clear-coat which allows the liner to form a molecular bond to the surface.
