Thats exactly my point. How can you say 2 8s are a waste of time? Well then 2 10s are a waste of time compared to 2 15s if your logic is right. Bigger isn't always better when it comes to speakers. Sure if you want to make some obnoxious bass that you can't even tell what song your on but 2 HIGH END 8s will be loud enough for most people and not a waste of time.

One eight, combined with my aftermarket three way speakers and I get great sound.
But then, I am more likely to have Emerson String Quartet playing rather than rap.
OK, sometimes a little Black 47 but Irish rap is different. They actually say the words in English...

its easy
I have 2 Audiobahn 12" flame q's in my regular cab 04 and i set off alarms when cruizin around town and it sound crystal clear. i had to build my own box but it was simple just look around the internet for a single 12" truck boxand just double the length thats all i had to do.
