Were you guys having problems with your stock pads? (Noise, etc...) Or did you just put the Porterfield pads on because of what you heard?

On my 04 FX4 I was having problems with brakes squealing/noise and horrible brake dust. So when I bought my 05 I purchased the Porterfields and had the dealer install before I took it off the lot.

I put new brakes on my truck because I was tired of having a sweet looking truck and when i came to a stop light or something all you heard was squealing from my brakes sorta got embarissed. I got porterfields because people said good things about them.

Thumbs up

Thanks for all the great Info. I will be ordering mine soon. I assume they are a slam dunk to install.
