Porterfield Brakes
Has anyone that switched to the Porterfield Brake pads to get rid of the dust had any problems? How long have you been running them? Did it get rid of the dust? I'm sick of cleaning my rims EVERY WEEK

I have had mine for about 3k now and no problems. their customer service was nice and helpfull on the phone. The only problem I had was with shipping. I live in Ca where they are located and it took almost 2 weeks for me to get my brakes. UPS decided not to deliver them to me. Called Port to find out what was going on and they were very helpfull in locating my pads. UPS said that they didn't even make an attempt to deliver them on time.
MHP,
If you do decide to order from their website, let them know you are a member of F150online. They'll give you a $20 discount, $79 instead of $99.

Part number is AP-1011 for the front pads.. just tell them you have the new body style f-150 and they will know what ones you are talking about. I told them that I was apart of this forum and they gave me a discount even though there was no discount at that time. cost about 100 bucks with tax, and shipping. they ship out of costa mesa Ca and use UPS.

What I mean is that he indicated that the Porterfield pads don't have any particular requirement for an extra-smooth rotor.
