How-to remove handle pulls from buckets with PICS!

Ok, I finally got around to getting my handles painted, they came out looking GREAT!! As promised, I made a little short how-to on removing those pesky handles from the buckets. I didn't include the tailgate handle because it is pretty strait forward. You just slide the long rod out of the handle and bucket with some force (it fits tightly in there) and remove the handle. As for the side handles, they are pretty easy too, one pin to remove and you have to pop out that spring mechanism, and I showed where to put the screwdriver that seemed easiest for me to pop it out. I'll have pics of them on the truck by this weekend!

HERE is the link for the How-To

And here are my buckets all painted up!!!

Awesome!!!! Glad to see they finally came out how you wanted them. What did you end up doing for paint? They are going to look great on your truck, trust me on this one, I know!

Anyway, make sure you post the pics of when you are all done, as it is going to look top notch. IMO, these handles are the perfect amount of chrome added to these trucks. They look just right!

Another great mod!

I got the mobile paint company "color match" to paint em for me. They come to my work every Thursday to do work for us and I just told em to see what they could do, ended up comming out really nice. They charged me $40 for that, which I don't guess is too bad after mixing the paint and stuff.

Awesome! That is a good deal on getting the handles painted. The price of clearcoat is very expensive these days, and so is the paint, so I would say you got one hell of a deal there! Again, looks awesome, gotta love the True Blue!
