I am now considering this for my truck. But here is my question. If I decide to do this, I will also want an in-dash monitor. Are there any good in-dash monitor/dvd players that can support two head rest monitors???

im using a pioneer 5700,it has a flip out screen and also a output for monitors,it works fine and cost me about $740 off ebay.im thinking of upgrading to the 6700 though,so i could sell mine for about $650 if anyone is interested, brand new condition, only in the truck for a little over a month now.

Depends on what you want.

Do you want double din or single Din? Do you want navigation or no?

I love my Eclipse AVN5435.

The Double DIN is the size of your stock '05. Single is the size of the most common CD players. So in theory you could put two CD players in that one spot if you wanted to.

I would prefer a double din. I am not a big fan of the flip out monitor look.

Check out my gallery for the Eclipse AVN 5435. I got it installed for $1700 and it comes with navigation built into the unit.
