ATTN: Audio Buffs
when you get them back, there would be a video plug and 2 wires, one black and one red.
you can just ground the black, and then you can either put the red on a switched 12 volt or run it to a key on 12 volt wire.i ran mine up to behind the radio and put it on my remote on wire from my pioneer head unit.the video plug you just get a rca splitter from radio shack and 2 6-8 ft long video rca cables and run that to your source.
as far as the actual running of the cables through your seat, take the flap at the bottom of the seat cover loose, and you can stick your hand all the way up to the headrest.you wouls start from the top,you have to actually push your cable trough a piece of foam that about 1/2 thick,if you dont then you will be able to see your cable on the outside of the seat cover becuase it would push the cover up in that one spot.so if you push it through the foam, then it will not leave that bump.after its pushed through at the top,you can just reach up and grab it,pull it while holding on to the cable up top and pull it over towards the console.i have a xlt and i ran all my wires to the console under the cushion that just pulls up.its pretty easy to install.once you get your wires ran, just install your headrest and set it down to cover up the connection.takes about 1 hr to run your wires, then just pop in your headrests.

That is a decent deal installed. You can get those monitors for about $150 each and they are very decent monitors for the headrests. I am thinking on going this same route when I decide on a head unit. Thumper, if you need some help with the install, hit me up. I am in Orlando and could lend a hand if needed.

Not trying to be an *** but I went with the 6in monitors because they fit the HRs much better than the 7in ones. With the 7in ones as pictured above you have to mount them low on the HR (the 6in can be installed almost centered...and this makes a big difference when sitting in the back watching them or if you just want people in the cars behind you to see them) and the edges still over lap the stitching.
IMO the 6in ones look better installed. And the 1in difference in screen size isnt a big deal.

I offered one at one time to do these installed for $400...if my supplier can still get them for me at what he quoted a few months ago I can still do them for that. BTW they are made by Toshiba and mine have worked flawlessly since the week before Christmas...and I play them all the time.
