How would you do that?
Isn't the lense cover orange(amber)?

Wouldn't it mean coming up with a red cover or a clear cover with a red bulb?

not sure. it looks like you can just pop that orange lens out, just wondering if they have a red lens to replace it!

Based on customer trends with other turn signals, you are more likely to find clear replacement lense covers in the aftermarket industry rather than red.

I've been looking but can't find anything. I was hoping to replace the amber lense with a clear one, and then put in some amber or red LED's. But I can't find a lense. One of these days I may try just popping out the amber piece and see if I can just fabricate a replacement. The piece seems perfectly flat and pretty simple.

I bet you could fabricate somthing to fit....there are a lot if LED 3rd brake light strips out there and one of them may be a close fit...

I was thinking more along the lines of cutting a piece of plexi to fit, maybe sand blasting the inside surface of the plexi and then a couple dabbs of clear silicone to hold it in. I haven't popped mine out yet to really see what going on in there yet.
