I have an 05 FX4 Supercab with the moonroof. I like using the Vent position on the moonroof. But it only opens like an inch. Anyone know of anyway to modify the stops or something to get just a hair more out of it. I don't want like a 4" opening or anything. Just seems like the Vent doesn't do much venting. All my other vehicles with moon roofs where about 2".

 

Seems like a lot of work for an inch of air. Just open it the regular way, but only open it partly.

 

I was hoping there was something like, just re-index a bar and you can open it a bit more. Or remove this bolt and put it in this hole instead. not worth a going through a lot of work.

 

If you have the rear slider, crack it open at the same time. It makes a world of difference with the moonroof on vent.

 

that's what I do now.

The vent only opening is just more of an annoyance, and I was hoping there was just some little tweak to open it more. Also when it's open and you look at it from the outside it looks retarded. Looks like it is misalligned and not fully shutting, rather then looking like it is just a open moonroof. that make sense?
