It didn’t go down that way on the thread “T or A” remember. Steve said there was a potential copyright problem with internet pics and erased the whole thread

I would hope that eBay_F150 would chime in here and disclose his intentions before this thing gets blown way out of perspective.
Those pictures (and the ebay description) appear to have been lifted from 04redlariat's cardomain.com gallery, not his f150online gallery.

Thumbs down Fraud is Fraud

No matter how you try to spin it Ebay, it is still fraud. You misrepresented your product.

umm actually thats wrong. Yes there is such a thing as "fair use". Howver, do you know how many people have been sued by companies for using internet photos on their (doesn't matter if it's personal or commercial to big companies) own sites ?

Some times you can get away with it claiming fair use. But that fails when you are making money off of it, it becomes commercial at that point.

Thats the same as saying "I'm going to use this picture i found in a newspaper of some Ford dealers' truck, to sell my truck"

eBay's policy of "misrepresentation" is stated here.

eBay_F150 is in clear violation of Item #2 "Significantly misrepresent an item by not meeting the terms and item description outlined in the listing." As a supporter of eBay, I would truely hope that eBay takes all the necessary actions against eBay_F150...it is in their best interest to keep sellers like this off of their site.

As upsetting as this may be for 04 RED LARIAT, I would assume that his efforts would be more or less ignored by eBay since he is not "directly" involved in this financial transaction. So, upon delivery, I would hope that the buyer (if he/she even exists) would file a grievance with eBay about this seller...cause I truly doubt that this seller has a truck that is so similar to 04 RED LARIAT's that pictures of his truck would directly represent the sellers truck's description.

I am boggled by the whole thing really I don't know what to say.

And the dingbat keeps talking about how he sold the truck and the buyer was happy, exactly what did you sell the buyer, not the truck pictured Ill tell you that.

And how could you settle for 25,500 for my truck its at least worth 33,995.

Who would have thought a truck could cause this much drama, wait it is a f150.........You guys better watch out your baby could be next.

Just tell the man why you stole his pics, besides it being a beautiful truck. It's BS what you did Ebay_F150.

I bet he would sell you the truck for $20K...just western union him a 10% deposit to hold it. What a scam. I wish somebody could stop by his store in AZ and see if he is really even there.
