22 or 24?
Im guessing your truck is 2wd and with that. I think 24s fill the wheel well much better than the 22s but its all personal opinion just like black or chrome. I was torn between black and chrome but I went with chrome and Im going to continue with that. So just keep that in mind.
I've heard the bigger the wheel the harder it is to stop (weight i think). I've also heard they don't ride as well, harder to turn, and a lot more expensive. But, that's what I've heard.
HIDPlanet has 22's and it looks sick as hell

deuce-four dippin
Hope this helps
PROS for 22's
-IMO, with a decent size sidewall it performs just as good as stock wheels.
-dont have to worry about potholes and dips as much as 24's
CONS for 22's
-there seems to be more alot more F's with 22's than F's with 24's
Pros for 24's
-IMO, it looks nicer than 22's
-fills the wheel gap a little more than 22's
CONS for 24's
-ride quality isnt as good as 22's (I change my suspension to make it alot smoother)
-the bigger the rim size, the lower the performance factor.
yeah the breaking power is reduced but isnt that an issue with anyone who has oversize tires???
i went with 24's (305/35/24), I would recommend 22's, only because your looking for ride and performance.
check my gallery for pics of 24's with drop kit

I have 24s on my F150 and wouldnt even consider anything smaller....these trucks swallow rims. I really wish I had went with 26s and if I get a new truck later this year I will. I am asuming about 99% of the people that say 24s ride ruff have never riden in a truck with 24s on it. I garentee you my truck rides better with my 24in Kumhos than it did with the factory 18in BFGs. Of course acceleration is a hurt a little because of the added weight (but these are not race cars to start with), but braking isnt hurt at all from what I can tell (after all these trucks are designed to stop when towing a hell ofa load so the bigger rims arent really an issue). And thats comparing 24s to stock....the difference between 24s and 22s would be much less.
The main issue I see when choosing between 24s and 22s is price. It will cost you a couple grand more to go with 24s, but thats cool because it means that not a lot of people will have them. And trust me chrome 24s will turn some heads! If you can affoard the 24s...get them, if not waite and save your money because you will not be happy with the 22s.
Here are a couple pics of my truck (there are many more in my gallery):

Go With The 22's!
In my opinion, 24's are just starting to nudge into "ghetto cruiser" territory -- kind of like putting 20's on a new Mustang.
Unless that is the look you are going for, I'd recommend the 22's -- they seem to be the best balance of rim, tire, and wheel opening!

I run 22's and yes the truck does make them look smaller from a distance but look great up close in person. Its all a personal preference. If just dont like little rubber band tires on wheels espicially for a truck. I have 305/45/22 and its still a but too small of a sidewall for my tastes. And you still have to worry about potholes, just not as much as 24's. I already slightly bent my wheel lip from a pothole the 2nd day I had them on the truck!
definitly not black wheels that would look effing retarded with 22s or 24s. either one in chrome would look sweeet tho. but u just gotta think if you want looks or performance. thats basically what it comes down to.

Im actually opposite..I dont like big chrome wheels...which is why I went with black.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you have one of the nicest looking F-150s on here. Anyone can take a bunch of parts and throw them on their truck but you have to be able to choose the right ones and make them collaborate in a clean, classy looking truck, and you did just that!
