I'm snubbing the chrome as I just don't think it'll look right on my truck... I love it on a monotone but, one a two-tone, I'm just not so sure.

The chrome isn't really 'true chrome' on the handles though is it? It's chrome plastic correct? With that in mind, it seems like a person could sand them and spray just in the same fashion one would by using the stock handles.

My approach is going to be to get a quote on mirrors individually and then a mirrors and all handles together and see what they'll charge. I know that the most critical part of the entire process is prep (the sanding) and I plan to make it very clear that I expect perfection (no matter the price). I have a painter that has come HIGHLY recommended to me by a couple of folks here locally so, I'm going to go to him first. I certainly won't choose whoever is cheapest unless I am comfortable and know their reputation. Cheapest isn't always best in this line of work, so I hear.

Thanks for your response bud. I do appreciate it.

the chrome is a chrome plated plastic, but it is the same chrome plating that youll find on metal. still, i think a little scuffing with some 220 and a good primer will hold fine on the chrome.
