Guys w/ 35's
I have the Autospring 2.5 and I'm debating between 33's and 35's on my stock 18" FX4 wheels. I have the 5.4 with 3.73 ls rear end. Will I notice a huge power and mpg loss with 35's without regearing? The stock tires are 32's so 33's shouldn't cause much difference. I'm debating between BFG AT's, BFG MT's, and Toyo MT's. I don't do a whole lot of off roading but I want an aggressive look but still street friendly and I've had experience with both BFG's and heard the Toyo's are very street friendly. I don't drive my truck a whole lot b/c I drive a company truck during the week so it won't be on the road constantly. The Toyo's are my favorite by far. Any suggestions?

I almost got the Toyos but decided to go Nitto Muds. They are the loudest tire I've ever had, but I love how they look. They also are heavy. Didn't lose much, but then I installed the Xcal 93 Octane Performace program . . . My truck is quicker and more powerful now then it was with stock program and tires.

Help
So I have had my 2005 Supercrew 4x4 XLT for a week and its time to start modding... I have the LT handles on backorder, I ordered the daystar leveling kit (2.5") and am about to buy tires. I have the 17" Painted accent wheels as you can see below. Would the 35" BFG mud terrains fit with just the leveling kit. Pickupsman, your truck has the look im shooting for. Does the FX4 sit any higher than the normal 4x4, so will I have a problem with rubbing and such. Thanks, this is just the first of many questions to come.
Thanks
Zack

You buy the Xcalibrator or Xcalibrator 2 which is a PCM flasher. The newest (2) version also reads codes and data logs. I got mine from Troyer Performance. It comes with 3 tunes. I got 87 performance, 93 tow, and 93 performance. It is awesome. Search the Chips forum, there is a lot of threads on it. Then call Mike Troyer and tell him your a member of this forum, he'll give you a good deal. You will not regret it.
