Rain Guards

Anyone recommend WADE rain guards?? Or are there other ones out there that have had a better history or ones people prefer? I purchased WADE rain guards and I'm not sure if i want to install them yet. I like the ones with no 3m tape and are just friction fit. Any sugguestions or comments would be great!

i have the quik-snap vents on my screw....they install inside the window track with some little u-clip deals...not sure on the wade brand but if they are in-channel type im sure they work the same....love them....they will create some wind noise at highway speeds but not too bad..

I haven't tried Wade, but I agree with you that the inchannel is better than the tape. I just ordered from Cabela's, the inline/inchannel, should be here today.

I bought the Lund In-channel guards. absolutely love em and it looks clean being in the window channel. They cost me 40$ from Summit racing.

I just put the Cabela's on last night and they look great. Took about 20 minutes to do all four windows. Cost was about $80. Nice to be able to crack the windows in the Carolina heat (in the mid 90's lately) and not worry about afternoon showers getting the inside of the truck wet.

My 2 cents, dont get the in channel for the supercab, the pieces are way too small looking. The ones that use tape are bigger and look better in my opinion.

Just my $.02, but I would get the in-channel adhesive kind. I had the ventshade in-channel "qwik-clip" kind on my screw and the front driver side blew off going 80mph. Also the back door shades would sometimes slide down with the window when I rolled them down. IMO, ventshade did not include enough clips. One for the front windows, two for the back.

I had the same problems with my Auto Vent Shade's. Tried 2 different pair and they kept falling out. I would be curious to hear how the Cabela's do after a few days as I considered those in exchange but decided to just give up on them, but it sure would be nice to find some that work.

I have the AutoVentShade in-channels as well, but mine came with both 3M tape and the clips. So far not problems at all with them.

Same here...and I even hit a NASTY crosswind the other day while doing well above the speed limit with the front windows down and I don't think they moved out of position at all. I was fairly impressed being these are my first vent visors and in-channel.

Cabela's Front and Rear 4 piece Window Vents 04-05 F-150
SUPERCRW

Just put them in last night so only time will tell how they hold up. It came with all four window vents. All are in-channel- the two front also have a hold on clip near the side mirror. The back windows are in-channel but also have three adhesive strips to help support, no clips on the back window.
