My dealer installed the Ford taped on ones when i bought my truck, and i just changed them to the AVS inchannel ones with tape and clips. I totally prefer the look of the inchannel ones compared to the taped on ones, much cleaner look. It was a royal pain in the a$$ to remove the tape residue from the taped on ones, but hours later my truck is allmost perfect except for where the tape was on my window door trim.

I have taken my truck upto 100 mph to check out more on my steering wheel vibe, and my new AVS held up perfectly. Im sure if they are installed correctly they should be fine.
Later Trev
