California Edition question
California Edition question
I traded in my 03 FX4 last week for an 05 F150 Supercab with the California Limited Edition Package. With the exception of the dealer having a problem balancing the tires and the lane drift I really like the truck. I do have a question regarding a sticker under the hood. Im hoping someone can tell me exactly what the code means. Since I havent quite figured out how to post pics to the thread I have included a link to the photo posted in my gallery.

The sticker indicates that your PCM was reflashed with newer firmware. The code refers to the version that was used to update it. As far as decoding it I don't have any reference materials for that. Someone here on the forum may be able to help you out. Troyer Performance, one of the supporting vendors here, also has a cross reference they use to decode the PCM versions. Here is their contact information:

I have never heard of the "california limited edition package", nor have i seen anything advertized.
My truck was just recently reprogrammed to the latest version (no sticker in engine compartment tho), on my paperwork it references number: 12650d84.

Thanks KD4
Not much to it
20" Roush wheels
Billet grille
step bars - took them off
I went to the dealer to get a standard XLT F150 and they had this one parked right next to it. To me it just looked much better.
