Parking lights staying on is a malfunction of the remote keyless entry system. The only low battery indicator the keyfob has is reduced operating range or failure to operate entirely. There was another post recently about someone's horn continuing to blow after double clicking the lock button on their keyfob. Gremlins!

It sounds like a stuck relay for the lights in the remote keyless entry system. I'm not sure where the module for it is located but it will probably need to be replaced. Maybe if the relay is seperate from the module it can be replaced by itself. Either way it sounds like a trip to the stealership to me.
