Just got it too....

To avoid paying an extra $100 surcharge, you must purchase ESP Coverage before 08/17/2005 or 12,000 miles (whichever occurs first)!

FORD ESP KEEPS YOU COVERED WHEN YOUR NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY RUNS OUT

If you're considering driving your vehicle more than 3 years or 36,000 miles, then consider:

· An Extended Service Plan (ESP) from Ford Motor Company can protect your vehicle - your investment - from unexpected and potentially expensive repairs for up to 7 years or 100,000 miles!

PLUS...

· Choose the time and mileage that's best for you - UP TO 7 YEARS or 100,000 MILES!
· Choose your deductible level - $0, $50, or $100
· Choose from a variety of payment options, including a NO-INTEREST, NO-FEE INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PLAN!

I have the ESP and buy on all my cars. No fridges, TV's, or other electronics though - too expenseive. I was in F&I and have seen them pay off for me.

I paid about $1400 for my 2004 SCrew 4x4, 5 yr/100k miles (I'll do miles before years).

Bot from selling dealer. You can use it as often as something breaks! Some aftermarket insurance companies limit coverage to price paid for the vehicle.
