I have the ESP and buy on all my cars. No fridges, TV's, or other electronics though - too expenseive. I was in F&I and have seen them pay off for me.
I paid about $1400 for my 2004 SCrew 4x4, 5 yr/100k miles (I'll do miles before years).
Bot from selling dealer. You can use it as often as something breaks! Some aftermarket insurance companies limit coverage to price paid for the vehicle.
