Hold down the trip button while starting the vehicle. Most of what it displays is just crap that we cant understand anyway, but it does have a tach, and other things, like Speed in MPH and KPH, and voltage, etc..

Does that work on the 04's that have the information center?

As far as I know it works on all '04's and '05's as long as they are the XL or STX trim, and have a resert button IN the gauge cluster (not a seperate buttom somewhere else).

I've got the Lariat pkg with the info center and have never tried holding the reset button when cranking the engine. I'll have to give it a try to see what happens.

Does anyone know where to find the meanings of the codes given during this procedure?
