body lift + brush guard

I may end up answering my own question, but I need verification. I have the '04 SupCrew with the 2.5" leveling kit and a brush guard already installed. If I opt to also install a 3" body lift will that mess up the look of the brush guard seeing as how the brush guard is directly installed on the frame where the tow hooks are? Will the brush guard stay low and the body be high causing my headlights to be partially blocked by the brush guard?

I appreciate the help.

You are right. Your brush guard will sit 3 inches lower. You will have to fabricate some brackets to raise it 3 inches. I don't know about the new trucks, but on the 97-03's, some brush guard brackets could be turned upside down to raise them.

Thanks. I'll check it out...had a guy at a local shop check it out and he said they could fabricate new brackets to hold it 3"s higher if I needed. I will probably go with that.
