Do the 05 F-150 use struts?

Hi guys,
I saw a picture of an 05 and it looks like they use struts.

My question is: Is the diameter of the springs on the 05 similar to the Heritage F-150 which is 5.7" overall diameter and 13.5" long?

Thanks,

Red

The new 4x2 and 4x4 F-150's use coilover shocks which I guess are basically a super heavy duty strut. I doubt the coils are anywhere close to the same as the 97-03 4x2's.

In the front they do. Rear axle is still solid with leaf springs and shocks, outboard mounted.

The coils are wholly different animals. I don't have any exact measurements, but my (poorly) calibrated eye shows the coils on my '04 as massive compared to the ones on my dad's '97.
