Since I finally learned how to post pictures so they show up directly in the post, I thought I'd include them so it's easier to view.

Please see the 3rd post in this thread. To get better prices, do a search on LT threads and you'll find links and part numbers on where you can purchase them.

Thanks for the compliment!

Well if your still not sure about this keep this in mind. For a small amount that you can pick them up for now, you had better do it. One thing Ford has show en us in the past is, if something sells good raise the price. Does anyone remember how much the Lighting tails were when they first came out? Buy now or pay later. Just a thought.

Has anybody ask to see what it would cost to program it so we can use the keypad buttons on the drivers door yet?

if you have power locks, i think all you have to do is plug it into the ahrness thats already in the door, and have the dealer activate the keypad in the VSM/BSM. shouldnt be more than .5 hr labor, or about $35, depending on the dealer. i would just call them and ask

Installed mine Friday. Pretty nice bang for the small amount these things cost. Best $100 I have spent yet on the truck. Anybody on the fence about getting these should really do it. The parts guy were I got these was kind of surprised that the handles with the keypad cost the same as the one without. I know I priced one for my 2000 when I had it and it was something like $150. I am sure one Ford fiqures out whats going on, these will raise in price too.

question on keypad wire harness

I just installed the LT handles on my DSG XLT and they look great. One question i had though - on the driver side, where do you clip in the wire harness so that its not in the way of the power windows. I see the female-type clip/stub on the wire harness but couldn't find where they fit into the body. Any help would be great. thanks guys -

What do you mean? If you diconnect the keypad it no longer works unless reseted by the dealer ship?

I think he means for those whom did not get the keypad as a dealer option. Like on my XLT, my truck didn't come with the keypad but the wiring is in the door. With these LT handles, they come with the keypad so you can just hook it up, and have the dealer program/activate it before it will work.

If you can find a dealership who has someone who knows what there doing. I have called three dealerships and stopped by one and still nobody knows how these things work. This thing is starting to be a pain in the a$$.

Great looking handles!

I would love to do this mod to my truck but when I was married my wifes nails used to always scratch the area under the handles. Now I'm not married anymore but the beautiful woman I'm seeing has even longer nails......Hmmmmm GF with nails or truck.......
