My SuperCrew is a year old, had 10k miles on it when I bought it--has 12k on it now. I do not have any of the problems you've mentioned...and any of the ones I have had (slowly warping rotors, bad throttle response) were all fixed very quickly and nicely by the dealer. I absolute love my truck and wouldn't trade it for anything, except maybe a silver one exactly the same

Whatever you do, make sure you get the 5.4 -- especially in a Screw! I just ordered a Standard Cab-Short Box, and there was no doubt that I was getting the 5.4 in mine.

The only Standard Cabs my dealer had on his lot were V6's, so I drove one just to get a "feel" for these trucks. Then I moved to the Scabs and test drove a 4.6 and a 5.4 for comparison. I have no doubt that the V6 in the Standard Cab truck had A LOT more get-up-and-go then the 4.6 had in the Scab.

Granted, this is not a direct comparison, but it was close enough for me to realize the 4.6 is pretty much a dog!

Here's a way to think about it. For every 1 person that has a problem of some sort and makes a post to find out what is wrong......there are probably 20 people with no problems at all. That's just the way it is, I work at a dealer and you would think our brand of car is the biggest POS in the world because EVERY car we see has a problem....... I love my FX4 and 5.4L!

Love my Screw. Go with the 5.4 These trucks are heavy.Highly recommend the moonroof , power sliding rear window, captains chairs w/ console. Also might consider back-up sensors I don't have them but they would come in handy sometimes( these beds are higher than any others)

I have owned an 04 FX4 Supercab and now have an 05 Supercrew King Ranch. Had to have the brake rotors replaced on the 04 and that was it. These are great trucks. I wouldn't trade my KR for anything on the road. Whaterver you do, get the 5.4, you won't regret it. The motor is extremely quiet and truck cruises effortlesly at 80 on the interstate.

The XLT intrument cluster has the fuel gauge / voltmeter / engine coolant /
engine oil pressure / The tach and speedometer.
You also get exterior temp and compass down by the l.e.d. odometer.
I hope this helps!
ford has got alot of big rebates and incentives running right now.

Is this Fred-Fred from over at allfordmustangs? If so -- welcome over to the f150online site!

How are things going with your new boss over there in Humble -- I bet a lot of guys are now wishing they would have ordered '05 Mustangs with you while they had the chance! Sorry you couldn't help me out with the deal for my F150 -- I ended up ordering over a Joe Myers for $200.00 under X-Plan.

I'm hoping there are still good F-150 rebate programs in place when my ride arrives -- probably first week or two of July (?).

Yes it is Fred-Fred From AFM.
I got so upset at T.F.
I moved to Chastang's Bayou City Ford.
Congrats on the F-150 at Joe Myers!
I still got my connections for The Stangs!!
I hope I can get a good reputation here also!

You thinking about putting together some special programs for F-150's over here? I'll be curious to see what you come up with -- I think it'll take a lot more than $500.00 over invoice to stir up much interest with the F-150's (?).

Is Chastang's allowing you to continue with your Mustang program? If so, do they have enough allocation to make it worthwhile?

Well to answer your question on the deal I can do for every member here is.

2006 F-series truck orders I can offer at invoice less any rebates at time of delivery. (Excludes the Harley Davidson package.)

They are still offering the 500.00 Rebate for AQHA members. The fee to become a junior member for AQHA is 35.00.
That is pretty cheap to pick-up an additional 500.00 dollars off invoice.
They also have 500.00 Rebate for the Texas Coastal Conservation.
I have not checked into this to see what the charge is for becoming a member?
Maybe one of our members here could let us know.
I will need to check your incentives if you do not live in Texas to make certain that the above Rebates apply to you.

I also can do drop ships at invoice plus drop ship fees.

I too would buy another F-150, even though I have had some minor issues myself. Not to down play any of the problems forum members have reported (except for those few lemon-law related trucks), but it was once explained by a forum member, the "bad issues" you read about on this forum are STATISTICALLY INSIGNIFICANT compared to the entire F-150 universe of trucks purchased. Again, to those that have had problems ... not funny or insignificant at all, its a real issue and I don't wish a problem on anyone. My point is the overall odds are better than some other truck brands you will receive a super truck in the F-150.
