My brake noise has always come from the front, the Porterfields take care of the brake dust and any noise/squealing. If I had an issue with the back brakes than I might replace them also.

Angry will the noise ever stop

toke it to the ford place to day the 4th time in the last two weeks. theve put two sets of roaters on it an one set of break pads. when i left today the noise had quiten down quit a bit so i figure it was just the new break pads and maybe it would quit but when i left four work tonight it was as bad as it started out to be 2 weeks ago. this is realy geting anoying im thinking ill be better off just spending the money and get aftermarket roaters an pads.

Has anyone tried any different rotors yet, besides fords? I have been having brake problems a year now and the dealer has done everything they know to do. I get tired of going every oil change to have my rotors turned or replaced. I am willing to spend the extra money on upgraded pads/rotors if that solves the problem. Its embarrassing to come to a stop from all the shimmy and squeeling. Talked to a guy the other day, he said ford was buying his truck back from all the brake problems, I hate to go though all that if theres a fix out there, because I really love the f150. So please keep the updates coming guys.
