Ok RP - Do you think there is enough Chrome on our wheels to pull this off? They are pretty nice!

I've thought and thought and thought about this...

I just don't think that there is... It just doesn't jive with the overall feel and look of the King Ranch. All black, heck yes. Black w/ AZ Beige... nah....

Bite me Dzervit. You merge em' hotshot. I'm tired and don't have time to deal with your phooey. Your username is going to be changed to ILICKSAUSAGE very soon.

Ilicksausage... I kinda like it! I already got a great sig idea...

Edit: You know RP, it would be much easier to buy the LT buckets and only paint your handles... the buckets are teh hard part to sand, with all those curves and corners. The handle is a piece of cake!

Good thought... not sure I want to shell out the $ for them when I'd like to take a stab at them on my own...

Plus, how would one get bonding between the chrome and paint?

No, seperate the handle from the bucket... use your handles to tear up and paint all purdy, then put your handles on the LT buckets. It will cost you $200 for the 4 LT handles but you'll save hours in labor. And time is money! Just another thought to throw out there.

Hmm... I gotcha. I could probably then take the stock bucket, reconnect it with the LT handle and drop them on ebay for a few bucks... hmm....

My only worry here would be paint match between the LT painted bucket and the paint I'd have to buy for the handle.

What's the diff between matching the LT bucket paint to your truck paint? It's the same color from the manufacture. You'd have the same issue with or without the LT buckets.

RP

it doesn't have to be a username change... maybe promote him from Senior Member to cold water shrinkage member (or something along those lines)
