Excellent before and after pic's, defineatly gives your truck more of a classy look. I approve

 

Thump - the plans for the sound system as follows: I'm going to use my Boston Acoustics components for the front, 5x7s for the rear, my 5 channel 'pine amp (4x90, 1x300 for the sub), a JL Audio Stealth box & unknown head unit at this time. Or, I may just get the JL CleanSweep and keep the whole system 'stealth'. But that Pioneer D1 unit is looking pretty sweet for the money. Who knows. Hopefully it will happen this summer.

 

I have a suggestion on the headunit! Eclipse AVN 5435.

I'll do a write-up as soon as I get mine installed!

 

The Eclipse units are very nice, but very pricey IMO. High quality but almost a thousand smackers more than the D1... and the D1 can use XM Traffic info...

 

Looks nice D...now all you need are some chrome step bars

where did you find such a good price on them? do they make them in white does anyone know? i havn't had any luck searching

 

Sorry, they don't come in white. They only come in the colors the Mark LT is offered... a quick look on Lincolnvehicles.com will tell you that only 5 colors are available... white not being one of them.

EDIT: Opps.. the price was so good 'cuz I got our company discount... we have a deal with a local dealer since we have numerous Ford vehicles in our fleet. Giddy up!

 

dzervit a local shop around here is selling the Eclipse AVN 5435 for $1700.

 

Ok, so it's still $600 more... even with an extra external DVD player for the D1, the Eclipse unit still ticks in over $400 more. Plus with the Pioneer unit I'll never had to remove the nav DVD... ever!

I take my previous comment back... that other LT handle thread show they do make them in white. I'm so confused, you can get the handles in white but not the truck?! WTF?! Check it out!

 

The Lincoln dealer here has a white one on his lot. I wonder if it will be a short run color (ie: very rare) or if they just havent updated thier site and they will be offering them in white as well.

 

Go to Lincoln's website and build a Mark LT to see what colors are available.
