2004 XLT Screw vs 2005 FX4 Screw
2004 XLT Screw vs 2005 FX4 Screw
Alright, still fretting over whether these 325/60/18 with Mickey Thompsons are going to fit. So here is the scenario
petsn8ke has a 2004 XLT Screw
I have a 2005 FX4 Screw
He is running a 2.5 Daystar with Mickey Thompson (18x10 with 6' of backspacing) wheels with Terra Grappler 325/60/18 with no rub
I am running a 2.5 Autospring and plan to put on the same wheel and tire package.
The guy at disount tire is all worked up about whether this is going to work. Soooo... is there any difference in how these trucks were built as far as clearance for tires and wheels? I am assuming there really were no changes in wheel well clearance between the 04 and 05. If anything shouldn;t I have more clearance with the FX4 package? I guess the biggest concern for the tire guy is the wheel well clearance from the A arm and shock and spring. Anybody NOT think they will fit. I can't imagine how they won't when there are some running even bigger tires (35's) with no rub. Am i worrying for nothing?
Thanks for any help. i am trying to get all this figured out before I dump 2300 dollars on tires and wheels.
