I was thinking about getting my windshield down with the clear tint just so it blocks UV rays, resists dash fading and cracking, and gets rid of any glares. Does anyone know about how much this would cost?

it was $175 for the front. its just 50%, it looks darker than it is. its more noticeable (from the outside) beacuse I did 20% on the front windows.
its really not that bad.
of course not all shops will do it.. 35% is legal.

I believe Ford windshields already have a UV filter.

BTW, these dashes wont fade and crack like the soft vinyl dashes of 20 years ago.

If you're still interested in the FX4 wheels at a later time, mine are for sale.
