To be honest with you I dont know how much the part cost, I didnt even price it knowing I wasn't going to buy it since I already had a black air dam to start with.


Thats exactly what I paid for my handles (plus sales tax) from my local dealer.

 

the mark LT valances are PTM (paint to match) so no go there.... already tried

 

I painted my 4x4 valance awhile back, its not a huge flat peice so it can be sprayed with a can and some clear

keep in mind this is basecoat only in the pic, clear was applied later

I tried calling my local Ford dealer about these handles. They sell Lincoln parts but he was utterly confused when I tried telling him that they were going on a F-150!

Does anyone know if they come in the Metallic Blue (looks navy) that the F-150s come in? This guy just couldnt grasp the idea of the Lincoln part going on the Ford.

 

asinatra, did you sand the valance smooth before painting it? if i remember correctly it has a slight texture to it.

 

yup she was sanded down, the texture isnt as bad as the handles but it still took the same time because it is fairly large

 

i have a spare valance im going to paint, did you use a ford black just a plain black? i have silver, im assuming i can get the paint in a spray can at the dealer or napa?

 

I don't think the LT comes in the true blue, check on the lincoln website. if it does, they will, if it doesn't i doubt it
