Im always to damn excited to get the new parts installed that i always forget to take pictures as i go. (as you can tell im a patient guy)
Only question is: are the chrome handles chrome all the way around (front and back)?

Hey Ram,

Did you get your applica painted...or however the heck you spell it? The plastic panels that are smooth and between front and rear windows. How much did they charge? They look painted in the pics.

 

Trev the handles are not chrome on the back side....the chrome wraps around but there is a gap on the back. They do look much better than those snap over caps though...for lack ofa better term they look "factory".

Yes, the handles come complete...buckets and handles. I think they do come in silver, but I dont know the part number for them.


On the 04s that panle came painted gloss black, and on the 05s it came flat black.

 

Same part Number but AAE at the end for the silver metallic

 

Looks much better now.

 

Do the handles and buckets separate easily once they are out of the truck (originals you removed)?

 

Wow that sucks, I'm going to get the panels between the windows painted. The flat black looks like crap....probably has a purpose, but I don't know what that is.

I'll be ordering all the parts in silver, sanding them down and getting them painted bright red. It'll be a bit more work, but worth it in the end. Can't wait to Get'r'done!
