Like others, I've been lurking around for sometime. Started in November after I purchased a new 2004 F150 XLT Supercab and found this to be a great site. Unfortunately like others, my truck came with bunches of problems that have been mentioned so many times before such as the rotor issue, leaks, stalling, recall issue and dealing with a bunch of dealer problems. With a build date of 8/03, I had them all! However after about 25 days in the shop I finally found the right person at the dealership and after complaining for 45 minutes about everything, he simply looked at me and said I'm just going to replace your vehicle. I couldn't believe it after reading what some people here had gone through how easy this came about. About 4 weeks later, the truck was gone and I had picked out my replacement,my 05 Supercrew. Still had a couple issues with the dealership during this process, but it worked out. I didn't lose faith and I love my new truck. With 3500 miles on this one, the only problem I have had is the ac not blowing cold enough which I'm taking it for thanks again to reading up on this problem here. This is such a great informative website! Hopefully I got this link thing right for pics of my truck!
