Yeah but the other kits they have listed are $1000+....I sure don't mind spending money on my truck but thats just too much IMO.

Those kits are very expensive and dont plan to sell very fast except for commericial use. Only die hards will go that route. Cheaper, but still expensive is a retrofit, but only people who really want quality lighting will spend for this. Replacing halogens is the route alot of people take when they do not want to spend the money for superior lighting. It could increase output slightly, but nothing anywhere close to a HID retrofit.

Installed mine, but i think one bulb is no good-Very dim.

I installed it on my truck today and lit up in my friends garage w/ no light on and we noticed that one of bulb look so dim (look like flashlight battery is going dead) and other bulb is whiter.

WIll send it back to company and replace it.. but hey i ll try snap a pix compare H13 xenon and Xtravision H13 and post it in here to see.

Be back in couple of hours (waiting for dark) w/ pix.

Well its good to see a beam pattern shot finally. Its very noticable to see the output lumen loss in the picture. Looks great head on, but the diminished output seems bad. Fogs seem very bright though!
This is why im always against tinted halogen bulbs...you get a white color when looking into them, but a reduced output which is a step backwards.

So let's see here. If I spend upwards of fifty bucks, I can have new headlight bulbs that have less actual light output that stock, less precise filament placement (that's why you need to re-aim the one light) and questionable life - but they look cool. Sorry, I'm not going for it. For my money, the Silverstar (9005) fog conversion is a ton better investment.

The headlight looks like a spotlight now... not much scatter (granted I realize the truck is close to the garage door)...

The fogs look REALLY good though... I might need to check into this.

RP.. I put the silverstars in my fogs a few months ago. MUCH better performance.. whiter light and more output. For those of you looking for more output from stock lighting, until something better comes out for the headlights, upgrading the fogs is the easiest thing to do.

Just installed mine on Sat........I used a light meter to compare the output of the factory H13's compared to the LUX ones.

Guess what!!!! LUX had 20% more output than the factory ones.......reason most people think the factory ones look brighter is because Yellow is a warm color, while the "Blue white" of the LUX are a colder color.....so you think it is dimmer but it is really brighter.

I give and a
