Finally it is my F-150's turn

I have had to take my F-150 into service a few times during the 1 1/2 years I have owned it. The Ford dealer i take it into is right around the corner from work. The co-worker that has always dropped me off and picked me up from there drives a '04 Ram 1500, he has razzed me pretty good on each visit. the ole "you shoulda bought a Dodge" , you should have bought a "BIG" truck, etc.
Well, as of today he tells me he has to take his...ahem..."BIG" truck into the Dodge (service) dealer and needs a ride tomorrow.
Apparently he is having problems with the differential.
HA!, finally....what goes around comes around, I can't wait!

You, "a few times", compared to his "first time".

I don't think I'd razz him too much, if I were you.

your going to have ur turn a lot coming up. Those Dodges don't last to long without having problems!

Whats he talking about "a big truck"?? The Ford can smash that thing to bits without even trying!

LOL!!! I almost fell out of my chair reading that bit about the garage again. I'm sorry Triton, but bad luck like that just needs to be laughed about or a person would go insane with it. Best of luck to you on your new truck!

it's cool! I get a kick out of it to now! Now that I'm able to get a new truck, I can put everything to the side and just laugh about everything that has happen to truck.
Next F150 I get, the only problem I hope to have is that it's to shiny!

P.S....go tell your buddy he should have brought an F150 instead of the Dodge!

Just got back from dropping him off at the local Dodge dealer, BIG difference in the service department compared with where i take mine.
He explains the shutter/skipping problem that he is having in the differential while turning.
The service advisor does not even seem interested, when he was finished telling him the problem, the all of a sudden the advisor comes to life and says:
I recommend the 30k service which includes:
change the oil and filter
replace spark pulgs
rotate tires check tranny fluid
check coolant, hoses and clamps
differential service <---the only reason he took it in.
inspect brakes and exhaust system
inspect cv joints, pvc valve and tires.
All for the small price of $ 650.00!
Needless to say my friend told him.."you have got to be kidding"
Gotta love it....
