Yeah I still might wait till the body shop paints the power mirrors and installs them next month. I was going to install the mirrors myself and save 200 on install and 100 on paint (no need for them to rip door off)...but wiring on the inside just looks too hard for me to do.

Did anyone else notice on the Lincoln website, the colors they show look a lot different than what they really are?

Yeah, I noticed that also. I'm not too worried though. I doubt that FMCO would go to the hastle of creating a different color just for Lincoln.

I'm GEEKED about these buckets with chrome handles!!!!! Anyone got the part #'s for the beige yet???? Next mod fa sho!

Can these be painted any Ford color, or are we limited to the 5 Lincoln colors?

Factory painted one of the LT's colors is my understanding.

You can, however, custom paint them yourself if you're so inclined. I'm just scared I'll flub it all up...

I orderd mine today from the local Lincoln dealership and they should be here Friday. I got all 4 and the tailgate handle for $225. I will install them Sat and post pics of the install and before and after.

I've got the keyless entry on my drivers side door. Do these come with that?

Ram, let us know how the install goes. I talked with the parts guy here, and we found that there are different parts numbers for the '04 and '05 models. The '05 covers both the '05 and '06 F150's and Mark LT's. I was hesitant to order based on that, but he thought that Ford might eventually drop the '04 number so that the new number encompasses all years.

Anyway, for the numbers:

Driver's side: 5L32-1522-405-(paint code)
Passenger's side: 5L32-1522-404-(paint code)
Tailgate: 5L32-9943-400-(paint code)

There is a thread somewhere here where somebody (Quentin maybe?) posted the paint codes. I know that AAC is the code for Dark Shadow Gray because it's the coolest!

I also forgot to get the numbers for the rear doors, but I would guess that it starts with 5L32-1522.

Yes, thats the ONLY way they come....key pad for the drivers and no keyhole on the passengers.

I will take pics of the whole process and post them. I talked to a guy in the body shop of the Ford dealership and he said there was nothing to removing and reinstalling the handles. I don't think there is any difference between the 04s and 05s, the billet handles you buy are for both the 04s and 05s, and if there is maybe my 04 was late enough it has the 05 handles (I have 05 exhaust).

Also does anybody know how the key pad in the door is attached and how to remove it? I am sure I can figure it out once in there but any tips would be apprecaited.
