for those who want PAINTED handle buckets...
if you want the painted handle buckets, and assuming you have a color that the LT has, the PAINTED buckets with CHROME HANDLES retail for $60, $32 for the tailgate, ready to install. thats pre painted. but you probably have to have the keypad, and possibly, not sure, a keyed passenger side. still, its cheaper than paint alone
i dont have the part numbers, your dealer can look them up, it will be under the 06 F150 with a note for the Mark LT, youll need to know your paint code.
ill be ordering mine soon!

i checked today, no pass keyhole. ill be ordering mine soon, $60 each is RETAIL, ill be paying about 42, but even still thats CHEAP as hell if you consider what paint cost alone would be if you took it to a shop, plus you get chrome handles, all the way around, not just the front. now if that chrome piece on the mirror was only a seperate piece.
i just found out the info on the handles today, i thought at least a few of you guys would appreciate it esp you duke, i remember you saying how much you were going to pay for paint....

yeah that kicks butt!!! i just need to learn how to take them off and replace them and put it back together...no small task it feels like and find that documentation...i think i'm search handicapped tonight! I want to incorporate it with power mirrors b/c i don't want to have to take these panels off more than once, it feels like a pain in the ****.

the part numbers are different for each color, and for each side. i would call your dealer and have them get your part number, make sure you know your paint code before you call. then hit fordparts.com with the part number. or you can schmooze your dealer a little bit and try to get a lower price, since youll have to pay shipping on the internet, you may break even at your dealer

Hey Sound,
So you'll be installing these in two weeks? Do you think you could take pictures of how you got the outside handle out of the door. I've read how to take the inside apart to get to that handle, but no idea how to get that handle out. I'd rather not go in "blazing saddles" (from Chris Adams ) style and then find out I'm out of luck. Thanks!

Duke-man, the handles are a cake walk to remove. Yank the door panel, remove the two rubber covers from the side, and you'll see the two bolts. Remove them & the nut from the inside of the door, then the only thing left if the nasty clip that connects the door lock thingamajig. Push the handle out from the inside, and swing it out like a door.... you'll get it. Whole procedure is about 15 minutes a door (maybe 30 for the first door while you figure things out.
