Anyone have the number to Ford themselfs or somebody from there??

I have a big problem with the dealer I took my truck to due to the brakes. I called today to see if the service Manager got a hold of the Inspector from Ford since they need to do that they said. Manager told me "Nope, have not heard back from the inspector after he tried calling him 2 days ago" I asked if I can have a rental car since I have no way to go to work or back! He told me "I will will NOT provide you with a rental car" I asked why the heck now!? He told me he doesn't want me to take a rental car and pretty much leave my truck at the dealership and never pick it up again!?? What the heak????? I told him then, it's not my fault this truck is defected and it's Ford's fault, not mine! He told me once again that he doesn't want to provide me with a rental car!!!!!!!! AHH! what B/S this guy is!!

Who can I call besides the dealer to tell them what happend and why they are not providing me with a car to at least get myself back and forth to work in! I have never ever had this problem before and it ticks me to be stranded and have my boss pissed at me for coming in late after waiting for the bus to get to work in!

I need a phone number if possable so I can talk to someone on how this dealer is treating this matter!

Guys name is Ethan Wood. He is on the ford priority response team, so you can bypass the customer service IDIOTS at the main number

THANK YOU!! I just got off the phone with him. Theres nothign he can do. He told me the dealerships are indepedently run and it's up to the dealership if you are to get a rental car or not.
Thats a bummer! I just have no way to get to work still :-(

Thanks for the number though. I';m thinking about having the truck brought to another dealership that will take care of me better.

Triton,

try John Lance Ford in Westlake. You're closer to it than Mike Bass, and I have never had a problem with them. I have bought 3 vehicles from them in the last five years,and the service dept treats me and my wife like royalty whenever we go there. If you go there, talk to Nick Nunnari (service writer) and the technician I recommend is Doug (he works on Nicks team)
