I think the wheels look great! I am considering buying some wheels as well, something to set mine apart from all the others. I am not real keen on modifing the suspension yet though.

The person that does it, does it with their own personal preference in mind and the way they intend to use it. For example: If you live in a cold climate where you get a lot of snow and you need to get around and you need the truck to haul things and above all have the comfort of these new F-150's, but you never go off road....why do you need the extra ground clearance? Why not lower it and get the sporty look, better handling, and get it out of the air and get better gas mileage all while still having the traction to get where you need to??? Like was said.....they make AWD cars everyday, what's the difference? And if you intend to take your truck off road then by all means, jack that bitch up and put some big tires on it. Like I said, all about what you need it for and what you like, screw what people think.
I would have to agree!

I think the truck looks good, it just needs a little more rubber.
You should be proud of your mods, and don't pay attention to people on this board who poke fun at others tastes and prefrences.

I will never understand why people buy a 4X4 and lower it, than put tires on it that would require you to use the 4 wheel drive to get around on wet roads. A true 4X4 man will never understand this. I bought my 4X4 to get me out in the woods for play and Hunting as well for work. But Nice 20" plus wheels and a lowering kit will make it "CUTE" for getting groceries.

I had a guy at a bar tell me almost the same thing about my truck. My reply, "hey if you don't like it, go out and spend $30K on one yourself and customize it how you want."

He didn't like my answer but considering he didn't own one himself, who is he to criticize? To each their own and I have no idea why people get so worked up over something they don't own.

Be original, don't be a sheep.

I don't see the problem with 20's on a 4x4, i put mine on in the summer, put the stockers on in the winter, running 285/50/r20 goodyear forterra's, 6 ply tire, just as good as the stock, and looks way better. I think its just a matter of taste, we have, others don't
I got a kick out of the fella your dropped a line saying the guy who started this thread needed more rubber, your truck has a 6" lift and 33's, common now, am thinking you should take some of your own advice before saying anything to anyone else.
